Portage, Indiana

Eva Sanchez, age 79, passed away Thursday, November 4, 2010 at her home. She was born January 14, 1931 the daughter of Genaro and Isabel Camacho. Eva was a lifetime Gary resident and a member of Cathedral of the Holy Angels.She is survived by her 4 sons; Adolfo (Joyce) Sanchez Jr., Genaro (Donna) Sanchez and Steve (Lorraine) Sanchez all of Portage, Antonio Sanchez of Hobart, 3 daughters; Louisa (Anthony) DeJesus, Angelita (Carlos) DeJesus and Carmen Fierro, 19 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren, 3 brothers Samuel Camacho of Joliet, Eliseo Camacho of Texas, and Jose Camacho of Michigan. She is preceded in death by her husband Adolfo G. Sanchez Sr., 2 sons; Louis and Antonio Camacho, her parents Genaro and Isabel Camacho, 2 brothers; Pedro and Eliazar Camacho, and 2 sisters Maria Trevino and Guadalupe Ramirez. A 10 am mass of Christian burial for Eva will be held Tuesday November 9,2010 at Cathedral of the Holy Angels, 640 Tyler St. Gary, 46402. A visitation from 2pm-9pm will be November 8,2010 at Rees Olson Chapel 5341 Central Ave. Portage, Indiana.
