Felecia was one of those rare people you come across once in a lifetime. Never a harsh word to say about anyone,always happy,always sharing stories about her kids and grandkids. My thoughts and prayers are with all of Felecia's family. I've worked with Felecia for many years and the only thing she ever talked about was her family. She has shared so many wonderful joys with all of us at Valcore about her siblings, her children and especially her grandchildren. She was so very proud of all of the accomplishments achieved. I called Felicia my buddy, I met her through her classmates class of 1982. If I did not know any better seems like I knew her most of my life. That's how beautiful her spirit was, and is. In loving memory of Felicia (FELA) Malave, words just can't express how shocked I am, we did not see this coming, Our mothers were best friends, "Back In A Day" I'm just 6 months older, so I knew her her whole life. Fela was always nice to me, when others were mean, she was a beautiful person both inside and out.....I think about her and it's all good. I know we just got back in touch, thanks to fb, I will never forget our talk after 30 yrs or so it was just so exciting to hear her voice, always loved her accent, words just sounded sweeter when she said them. Lord, knows although we didnt hang out or become bff, there was a connection of friendship, love, and respect that came from our mothers-always making us play together, so glad they did! I feel so sad for her family couse, I know they have always been so close' for as it is hurting more then you would think since so many years had passed, so much more catching up to do, but her work on earth was done. I thank God that she found me, although it was short,it really wasnt, it was 50 yrs, having Fela has been such a blessing, and she has made a mark in my life, so grateful to have known her. Lord, I didnt expect this. I'm sure her family didn't either. We all must go home one day, saying good-bye is the hardest...I wished I could be there, I wouldnt be too strong, but we could cry and talk about the wonderful memories...Fela, thanks for being my friend, sorry we didnt get to meet up again here, but in heaven, one day, it will be my turn, till then, when I think of you, I will remember how beautiful, caring, and lovely you were and with a smile, I will look up and know you brightened up the heavens just like you would brighten up a room when you walked in....I pray, Lord, watch over all her loving family that she loved so and give them strength to get through this. I want this all to be a dream. I want to get out of my bed and go to your room and see you snuggled in your bed. You were my sister, my friend, my everything. Where there was Fela there was Evy. Even mom wanted us to be together thats why she gave me the name "FEBBY"....Fela plus Evy = Febby...lol We just laughed about that the other day. The last few days have been so lonely without you. Ive done things that I wish I never had to do but because I love you I knew I had to. Im going to promise you that I will be here always for Miguel, Desiree, George, Emily, Lil Man and Jordan.
