GUNDA M. DIEHL Munster, Indiana Gunda M. Diehl, age 93, of Munster, IN, formerly of Hammond, IN, passed away Thursday, April 30, 2009. She is survived by 3 daughters, Janet (William) Miller of Kokomo, IN, Judith Diehl of Highland, IN and Ramona (Richard) Krueger of Valparaiso, IN; 3 grandchildren, Michael (Teresa) Graham of Kokomo, IN, Cheryl Graham of Kokomo, IN and Brian Krueger of Valparaiso, IN; 3 great-grandchildren, Raymond, Andrea and Raylee Graham of Kokomo, IN; nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Diehl; and 2 sisters, Florence Brown and Jane Berggren. Funeral services will be held Monday, May 4, 2009 at 10:30 AM from Christ Lutheran Church, 7051 Indianapolis Blvd., Hammond, IN with Rev'd Roger Storms officiating. Burial will follow at Elmwood Cemetery, Hammond, IN. Friends are invited to meet with the family on Sunday, May 3, 2009 from 2:00 -6:00 PM at LaHayne Funeral Home, 6955 Southeastern Ave., Hammond, IN and Monday morning at the church from 10:00 AM until time of services. Gunda was a lifetime resident of this area and a member of Christ Lutheran Church, Hammond, IN, where she served as Financial Secretary for 52 years. She worked with the Girl Scouts for over 50 years and belonged to the Woodmar Women's Club. Gunda played the organ, sang, and directed many choirs. Her life revolved around the church.
