Helen Duncan Obituary

HELEN DUNCAN "Ruth" Lake Village, Indiana Formerly Kingsport, Tennessee Age 80, a Lake Village resident for 25 years, passed away on Friday, March 30, 2007. She spent the latter part of her life traveling with the Senior's Group from Gainer Bank, seeing Europe, Canada, Alaska and the Caribbean. She was a volunteer for St. Anthony Hospital. Mrs. Duncan was preceded in death by her husband, Kyle Aubrey Duncan. She is survived by 3 children: Pamela (Edward) Purevich of Marco Island, FL, Deborah (John) Hanberry of Valparaiso and Carol (John) Whiteside of Crown Point; 5 grandchildren: Mark (Deb) Purevich, Jennifer Caprous, Philip (Tanya) Purevich, Angela Fleming, and Sarah Whiteside; and 9 great grandchildren. A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, April 5, 2007, 7:00 p.m. at Burns Funeral Home, 10101 Broadway, Crown Point. Friends are invited to meet with the family on Thursday from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to St. Anthony Hospice, 203 Franciscan Dr., Crown Point, IN 46307.
