Helen Eleanor Mlynarcik

Mlynarcik, Helen Eleanor H. Eleanor Mlynarcik (nee Grabowski), age 91 of Lansing, IL, formerly of Whiting, IN, passed away at the Hartsfield Village Memory Support Center on Sunday, March 30, 2014. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Mlynarcik; parents, Blaze and Regina Grabowski; four brothers, John, Joe, Stanley and Frank Grabowski; and five sisters, Mary Quisenberry, Bertha Lisarik, Angeline Grabowski, Jenny Cunningham and Elsie Tomera. Survivors are her three sons, Dennis (Jacqueline) Mlynarcik of Lansing, IL, Gerry (Lana) Mlynarcik of Lewiston, MI and Larry (Paula) Mlynarcik of Merrillville, IN; nine grandchildren, Amanda Burkhart, Joshua Mlynarcik, Julie Anderson, Adam Mlynarcik, Ryan Fasel, Alaina Marshall, Brian House, Jeremy House and Angela Kinney, numerous great-grandchildren; and one sister, Clara Blastick of Munster. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, April 4, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. DIRECTLY at St. Ann's Catholic Church, 3010 Ridge Rd., Lansing, IL. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery in Calumet City, IL. Friends are invited to visit with Eleanor's family on Thursday, April 3 from 3:00 p.m. 8:00 p.m. at the Schroeder-Lauer Funeral Home, 3227 Ridge Rd., Lansing, IL, and again on Friday from 9:00 a.m. 10:00 a.m. at the church.
