David Vega Obituary
Beloved husband, father, son, brother and friend, David Daniel Vega, age 72, passed away Wednesday, June 14, 2006 at his son's home surrounded by his loving family. David was born May 12, 1934 in Los Angeles, California to the late Trinidad and Elena (Valdez) Vega. His family will fondly remember him as a handsome, charismatic, knowledgeable man who would do anything for the people he loved. David always enjoyed life to the fullest and was an avid reader. He made people laugh and had a gracious heart. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. David is survived by his wife Claudine Vega of West Monroe, LA; daughters Davidia Barba and husband Joe of California and Elena Cook and husband Elston of Battlefield, MO; sons David Vega of Nixa, Daniel Vega and wife Penny, Darin Vega and wife Ginger all of Springfield; eight grandchildren; one great-granddaughter and one sister. Per David's wishes, cremation arrangements are under the care of Thieme-Shadel Funeral Service at Rivermonte. Memorial Contributions may be made to American Cancer Society.
