JENNIFER MARIE GRISMER Chesterton, Indiana Jennifer Marie Grismer, age 30, passed away Tuesday, November 13, 2007 at the VNA Horton Hospice Center in Valparaiso. Jennifer was born November 1, 1977 in Beech Grove, Indiana, the daughter of David E. and Patricia M. (Swanson) Grismer who survive in Chesterton. Also survived by 1 brother, Michael Grismer of Cloverdale, IN; aunts and uncles, Charles (late Karen) Grismer of Greenwood, IN, Daniel (Jeanie) Swanson of Fairfax, Virginia, Dorothy (Bruce) Sebert of LaPorte, Indiana, Veronica (Robert) Knueven of Littleton, Colorado; numerous cousins, and many dear friends also survive. Jennifer was a 1996 graduate of Chesterton High School, 2001 graduate of Indiana University Northwest. Jenny had been employed by Jones New York Store in the Lighthouse Mall in Michigan City. Her hobbies were scrapbooking and making jewelry with beads. She loved to travel and had traveled to Germany and Ireland. A three time honoree for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society team in training, and participated in the Indianapolis Mini Marathon in 2004. Jenny had a great sense of humor and was a friend to many. A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, November 17, 2007, 11:00 A.M. from the White-Love Funeral Home, 525 S. 2nd Street, Chesterton, with Pastor Jeffrey Dahlin, officiating. The family will receive friends Saturday from 9:00 A.M. until time of service.
