Lance Addison

1965 - 2016

Lance Edward Addison was born on February 14, 1965 in Gary IN to Adrienne Clayton and Charlie Addison. Lance attended Gary public schools and graduated from Roosevelt High School in 1985. He went on to study Computer Science at DeVry University. Lance portrayed his artistic and musical abilities at an early age. Later, his father taught both he and his brother James to play guitar. Lance honed his skills as a lead guitar player and he and James formed the musical group "FAZOR", co-managed by Charlie and Josie Addison. Throughout the eighties, the group performed R&B and Top Forty covers all around the Midwest. Lance left Gary in the early nineties to support his mother in Salt Lake City UT. He lived there until his passing on February 20, 2016. Preceded in death by father, Charles "Charlie" Addison; sister, Keeyona Addison; niece, Jennifer Addison; grandparents, Eddie & Ethel Addison, Clara Curtis & Brealon Donaldson; cousins, London and Topeka Clayton. He is survived by his mother, Adrienne Clayton, Layton UT; step-mother, Josie Addison, Gary IN; siblings Nancy Wasdon, Los Angeles CA, Sharron Addison, Tinley Park IL, James Addison Gary IN, Nathan (Michelle) Clayton, Layton UT, Leon T. (Star) Littles, Las Vegas NV; 17 nieces and nephews, and a host of uncles, aunts, cousins, and loving friends.
