On behalf of Geneva Long and family, I extend heartfelt sympathies to the Williams family. It has been a lifetime since we have all seen one another, but my family certainly remembers yours -- especially at a time such as this.
Metropolitan Baptist Church was a special place in a very special time in the life of my family. The active and sincere involvement of the Williams family at MBC, under the leadership of Pastor Floyd E. Dumas, Sr., was surely a metaphor -- undoubtedly a testament to the strength and love that Mr. Larney Williams, Jr. represented in your lives. My family and I are wishing your entire family, and your loved ones, peace and an abiding sense of the presence, grace and power of our Lord Jesus Christ at this time and always.
