I would like to inquire whether this Laura Lynch was a cancer patient at Wyler Children's Hospital in Chicago during the years from approximately 1977-1979, while I worked there. If you can clarify this for me, I would appreciate it very much. Thank you, Mary K Willert, Minneapolis, MN.

Dear Lynch Family, Was your Laura once a pediatric patient at Wyler's Children's Hospital at the University of Chicago in the late 1970's? If so, then I knew her well when she came in for her treatments for lymphoma, I think. I was the Child Life Specialist in the Chronic Disease Clinic there. I liked Laura very much and we even visited the Amish Community in Napanee, IN. Together. But mostly we liked to talk. We kept in touch for some time after I moved away from Chicago in 1979. Then we lost touch. Laura had a sunny and enthusiastic personality, even as she underwent her Chemotherapy and radiation, and I loved and enjoyed her for that. was she m,Fr If your Laura is the one I knew, then I can only tell you how very sad I am to hear that she has passed away. If you have the time and inclination to write back to me to confirm my hunch, I would appreciate it. In an event, please accept my heartfelt sympathies.
Sincerely,
Mary Kay Willert
