LISA MARIE MCKAY (nee HAMMONS) Hebron, IN/formerly of Lakeville, MI/Wheatfield, IN Age 40 passed away on Tuesday, August 21, 2007 at the VNA Hospice Center in Valparaiso, IN, after a 3 year battle with breast cancer. She is survived by her husband of 19 years, Tim McKay; daughter, Nichole Marie McKay, age 18 of Hebron; son, Cody Wayne McKay, age 16 of Hebron; father, Rufus "Sonny" Hammons of Wheatfield, IN; sister, Teresa (Michael) Orsburn of Demotte, IN; many nieces and nephews; father and mother-in-law, Marty and Sharon McKay of Hebron; best friend, Barb Jackson of KY. Preceded in death by mother, Margaret Anne Hammons. Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 25, 2007 at 10:00 A.M. at Geisen Funeral Home, Hebron with Pastor Wayne Barrett officiating. Burial at Hebron Cemetery in Hebron, IN. Friends may call at the Geisen Funeral Home, 624 N. Main, Hebron, IN on Friday, August 24, 2007 from 4:00 to 8:00 P.M. Lisa was a loving wife and mother. She enjoyed vacations with her family and had a passion for the outdoors. She was a crafty person who enjoyed tole painting. Lisa also loved her dog, "KC" very much.
