Mrs. Lorraine E. Cole age 61 of Gary,In transitioned from labor to reward on May 12, 2022 . She was a graduate of Emerson High School Class of 1979. She was a treasured employee of the Gary Public School Corporation for over 30 years where she served as a secretary.Mrs. Cole transitioned from labor to reward on May 12, 2022. She was preceded in death by her parents James Melvin and Hazel Marguerite Williams. Mrs. Cole leaves to cherish her memory: her loving and devoted husband Raymond Cole SR, sons Christian (Tarreka) Jenkins of Indiana, Raymond JR. of Nevada, Eugene of Indiana and Antonio Minnesota; sister Christina Klug of Indiana, aunt Brenda Adams of Indiana, brother-in-laws Elijah (Vernita) Cole, Alvin Curtis, and Dean (Hestina) Monroe, and a sister-in-law Deatrice Woods. Thirteen grandchildren, but you could always catch her posting pictures of her baby Harmony, a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, family and friends. Visitation Friday May 20,2022 12:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. Funeral Saturday May 21,2022 at 10:00 a.m. all services at New Tabernalce Baptist Church 2416 Pierce St. Gary,In. Interment Evergreen Memorial Park Hobart,In. Services Entrusted To Powell-Coleman Funeral Home.
