Michael Swinford Obituary

Swinford, Michael L. Age 66, died suddenly, beloved soul mate of Karen Curry, loving dad of Chris (Susan), Tim, Jason & Mackenna (Marcus) Holling, proud grandpa of Kayla, Crista, Hailey, Alex & Holli, great-grandpa of Ellie, dear son of Retha (The late Ted) Corbin & the late Harry Swinford; kind brother of Pattie (Ron) Clifford, "Swinnie" was a life member of Austin Lodge #128 F & AM (Tipton, IN), Scottish Rite, Valley of Chicago & Medinah Shriners, AAONMS. Michael was a member of Curtisville Christian Church, a longtime Purdue fan and supporter, a member of the John Purdue Club, attending most home football & basketball games, and an avid motorsport fan & collector. A memorial celebration of Michael's life will be held on Thursday, June 2, 2011 3:30 PM at Strongbow Restaurant 2405 E. US Rt. 30 Valparaiso, IN (800-462-5121), Private entombment was held in Indianapolis, IN. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made in memory of Michael to the Purdue Foundation, c/o Brian K.
