Minnie Stanley Obituary
Mrs. Stanley was born to Ramous and Leola Hampton on March 8, 1922 in Iron City, GA. She was united in marriage to Mr. Ray Stanley, Sr., on November 15, 1938. To this union three sons were born; a son, Marion Paul preceded
her in death.
She leaves to cherish her memories, her husband of almost 71 years, Mr. Ray Stanley, Sr.; two sons: Ray Stanley, Jr. (Elouise) of Baton Rouge, LA andFrank Stanley of Panama City, Fla.; daughter-in-law: Rosa Lee Stanley; grandchildren: Pamela, Dario, Monique, Mishella (Jessie), Napoleon (Regina), Demetrice (Terrance), Tamala Rena, Faye (James), Angie (Michael), Lamar and Kenny; eight great grandchildren and nine great-great grandchildren; she
also leaves to cherish her memories a dear cousin, Thelma Jones (Elder John); a sister-in-law: Sarah Foster (John); brother-in-law: Jim Stanley; numerous other family members and friends.
Visitation will be today, Friday, Oct.r 16, 2009, 6-8 p.m. Greater Bethel AME Church, 829 Hamilton Avenue, Panama City, FL.
Funeral services will be Saturday, Oct. 17, 2009 at 2 p.m., at the Greater Bethel AME Church, with the Rev. Lawrence E. Gantt, pastor/officiating. She will be laid to rest in the Garden of Memories Cemetery, Panama City, Fla.

WHEN I THINK OF MY DEAR AUNT MINNIE...I THINK OF OF HER WONDERFUL SMILE. HER SPECIAL WARM WAY OF GREETING ONE THAT MADE THEM FEEL THAT SHE WAS EVER SO GLAD TO SEE THEM.. It has been almost a week since Ms. Minnie departed this earth, yet her sweet spirt and words linger in my heart and Mind. May the family find comfort in knowing that some of her last words I heard was " I Love You All"
