NICHOLAS STARCEVIC, SR.
Age 72, passed away Sunday, September 26, 2010. He is survived by his devoted wife, Debra; children, Nicholas (Peggy) Starcevic Jr., Peggy (Tom) Vondrasek, Michelle (Dave) Euler, Debbie (Tim) Dobson, Jim (Janet) Starcevic, Steven Starcevic, Michael Wright and Amanda Wright; 16 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; dad, Freeman Bragdon, Sr.; brothers, Gerald (Claire) Starcevic and Freeman (Angie) Bragdon Jr.; sisters, Mildred (late Chuck) Seebold and Angeline (Rex) Skomac. Preceded in death by his mother, Anncia Bragdon; father, James Starcevic; daughter, Sandra Fernandez; and son, Franko Starcevic. Nicholas enjoyed cooking, watching western movies and football. He loved garage sales and spending time with his family. Funeral Services will be held Thursday, September 30, 2010 10:00 AM at Calumet Park Funeral Chapel, 7535 Taft Street, Merrillville, IN. Interment to follow at Calumet Park Cemetery, Merrillville. Friends are invited to meet with the family on Wednesday, September 29, 2010 4-8 PM at the funeral chapel. my love for nick has been a long time. we had such good times in the years that past. he is now in good hands and no more hurting.my prays go out to the family. please always remenber the good times you all had with him. god bless you all.

My deepest sympathy goes out to the family, especially Amanda and Debbie. We all had some great laughs together and Nick will be missed very much. I love you both and know that this is a hard time for you all, but now you will get to carry him not only in your heart, but every where you go!
