Dear Patrick-
When my brother called me at Victoria's house Sunday morning and said that you might be dead, I didn't know what to think. I thought he was joking or that I was having a bad dream. In the last fifteen years we had good times and bad times. we both thought we were tough people in our subdivision. Our subdivision will not be the same anymore without you. You have always been the down to earth person and no matter what kind of mood you were in you always brought us up. I am going to miss you dearly. This isn't goodbye, it's see ya later. RIP.

P.S-Jamie, if you ever need anything you know I am only a minute away. Keep your head up and you and the kids will be fine.

When I got the phone call at 5:30 in the morning on Sunday, I thought I was dreaming that I saw Tisha had called. So when I got up and looked at the caller ID i was shocked to see Tisha actually did call that early, I knew it could not be a good phone call. When you told me about Pat, i couldn't beleive it. He was the first person who greeted me and the kids at mom's party- I was happy to see him because it had been so long. we talked for a few moments and he drifted off into the crowd- had I only known~ my heart goes out to you Jamie, and all of his little ones- Alyssa, Ashley, Alex, Matthew, and Emalie. if ever there is a time when you miss your daddy so much just know that he loved each and every one of you with all of his being. Just ask Grandma Wilda to tell you some stories about him. I am always here if any of you Tisha,Mom, Kaleb, Jamie- any of you need anything call me.

Daddy,

If tears could build a staircase,
And memories a lane,
We would walk up to Heaven,
And bring you home again.

We love you and miss you very much!

Love,

hey pat its your cuz danny, i just wanna say i miss ya man, i'm never gunna forget all the time you had my back, and all the great times and heartaches we had watching the cubs and bears game together, recently i asked if you wanted to go to a bears preseason game with me, and you said yes, i dont know if i'm gunna go anymore, but i will watch it and i'll save you a seat right next to me on the couch, and i will yell at the tv just like you and i have done for many disapointing seasons...... thats what i'm gunna miss the most, is the way you made us laugh, and yelling at the tv during a bears game, i will miss you cuz, and i know i never told you this before, but i love you so very much, and i will never stop loving you of thinking aout you, but this is not goodbye this is see ya later, in the place where their is no yelling at the tv because the bears never lose because sweetness, and eddie perez are also playing for the heavenly bears, and now they got one hell of a wide reciever named pat doeing, so untill we play together again, i will miss you..... i will always miss you........ love you pat..... rip

My times with my cousin Pat were great. We had a lot of laughs and giggles but we really haven't spent that much time together. There is so much let to say if he were here today. It's so hard to accept he's gone forever. When my time comes to past i'll see you my best friend at last.

To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say...
but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love.

Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight.
Remember that I'm with you every morning, noon and night.
That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through,
God picked me up and hugged me and He said, "I welcome you."

It's good to have you back again; you were missed while you were gone.
As for your dearest family, they'll be here later on.
I need you here badly; you're part of my plan.
There's so much that we have to do, to help our mortal man."

God gave me a list of things, that he wished for me to do.
And foremost on the list, was to watch and care for you.
And when you lie in bed at night, the day's chores put to flight.
God and I are closest to you....in the middle of the night.

When you think of my life on earth, and all those loving years
because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears.
But do not be afraid to cry; it does relieve the pain.
Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain.

I wish that I could tell you all that God has planned.
But if I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand.
But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is o'er.
I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before.

There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb;
but together we can do it by taking one day at a time.
It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too...
that as you give unto the world, the world will give to you.

If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain,
then you can say to God at night......"My day was not in vain."
And now I am contented....that my life has been worthwhile,
knowing as I passed along the way, I made somebody smile.

So if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low,
just lend a hand to pick him up, as on your way you go.
When you're walking down the street, and you've got me on your mind;
I'm walking in your footsteps only half a step behind.

And when it's time for you to go.... from that body to be free,
remember you're not going.....you're coming here to me.
