Paul Horbovetz Obituary

Horbovetz, Paul Kenneth "Carpet Paul" Age 58, of Hobart passed away Thursday, February 27, 2014. He was born on February 1, 1956 in Gary, Indiana. Paul graduated from Lew Wallace High School, class of 1972. He worked as a master craftsman and carpet and flooring installer. He was a Jack of all trades. Paul was a musician and flute player for many years. He also loved Jethro Tull, the Chicago Cubs, and the Chicago Bears. He is survived by his wife, Robin Gill Horbovetz of Hobart, IN; 3 brothers, David Horbovetz of MI, Eric (Yvonne) Horbovetz of TN, Peter (Reda) Horbovetz of TX; 2 stepbrothers, Thomas (Linda) Herbert, and "Tim" Edward (Ronda) Herbert; many nieces, nephews, and numerous close friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Michael and Mary Horbovetz Herbert and his stepfather, Edward "Coach" Herbert. Cremation will take place with Rees Funeral Home and Cremation Service. A memorial visitation will be Friday, March 7, 2014 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. with a memorial service at 1:00 p.m. at Rees Funeral Home, 600 West Old Ridge Road, Hobart with Rev. Andrew J.
