Quintin Douglas Lukaszewski, 22, of Hebron passed away Thursday, April 21, 2016. He was born December 9, 1993 in Oak Lawn, IL to Lisa Kuypers and Douglas Lukaszewski. He graduated from Hebron High School and the Porter County Career Center, and currently worked as a Diesel Mechanic for Schneider National. Quintin was a member of St. Augusta Catholic Church in Lake Village, enjoyed playing his guitar, and had a passion for Ford trucks and mustangs. Quintin is survived by his parents; siblings: Henry Kuypers of Hebron, Nicole (Harry) Paulson of Joliet, IL, Samantha Lukaszewski of Chicago, IL; Grandmother: Barbara Jones of Valparaiso; Great-Grandmother: Florence Mills of Valparaiso; and nieces: Allyson Kuypers and Addyson Paulson. He was preceded in death by his grandparents: Harry Gonzales, Charles Jones, and Al & Catherine Lukaszewski. A visitation will be held Thursday from 4-9 pm at Moeller Funeral Home, 104 Roosevelt Road, Valparaiso. The funeral service will begin at 11:00 am Friday at the funeral home with burial to follow at Angelcrest Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to Lisa Kuypers.

Quintin was an amazing young man that, although I only had him for one year at Hebron High School, he was forever remembered as one of those students who you can never forget and holds a special place in your heart! Last year I was hospitalized after a car accident and my family was scheduled to move, without a question or hesitation when Mrs. Klenk called him he was out in Portage right away helping my husband with our truck and move. He had a infectious smile that you could never be mad at. Thank you Quintin for the lessons you taught me as a teacher and your willingness to help anyone, any time. Rest easy and watch over us all. Until we meet again kiddo!
