Age 81, of Merrillville, passed away on Tuesday, August 31, 2010. Retired from Inland Steel with 38 years in the Coke Plant. Mac loved gardening, woodworking and watching White Sox baseball games. He was a loving father and papa and he will be greatly missed. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Mary and children, Ricky and Jackie Weger and Beth Withers. He is survived by his daughters, Sandra (Gerald) Eaton, Linda (Bill) Townsend and Paula (John) Paterson; grandchildren, Kelly (Jim) Carpenter, Scott (Kristin) Mytyk, Michael Mytyk, Matthew and Meg Eaton, Kevin Paterson, Kimmy (Mike) Nelson, Patrick and Madelaine Withers; great-grandchildren, Grace and Andrew Carpenter, Richard and John Mytyk; brothers, Neil and John Weger and many loving nieces, nephews and family. Friends may visit with the family on Friday, September 3, 2010 from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Burns Funeral Home, 10101 Broadway, Crown Point, IN. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 4, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. at Burns Funeral Home. Rev. Andrew Corona officiating. Interment at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens in Schererville, IN.
