Sallie Stuckey Obituary

Sallie (Williamson) Stuckey was born March 23, 1935 to the late Charles and Bettie Williamson. She departed this life on January 20, 2022. She accepted Christ at an early age and attended the Move of God with Pastor Dick Baker of Gary, IN and Church of Deliverance in Christ in Gary, IN under the leadership of her brother, Elder Charles Williamson. She later joined Hope Deliverance Center pastored by Evangelist and Pastor Jackie Jordan of Chicago, IL. Until her untimely death, she was a member of Unity Non-Denomination under the leadership of Pastor Randy Berry. Sallie graduated from Manassas High school in Memphis, Tennessee. She was shortly married in Holy Matrimony to A. J. Stuckey. She continued her education in the field of nursing and psychology at Ivey Tech College in Gary, IN. IN 1975 Sallie began working in sales at Sears Roebuck and Company at Southlake Mall in Merrillville, IN until she retired. Sallie became an ordained minister and continued her work for the lord as an Evangelist and Prophetess. Evangelist Sallie Stuckey travelled the country opening several churches and leading the lost to Christ. She was loved by many. She was also loved by her children and extended family. Sallie was very passionate about her faith. She raised her children in the fear and admiration of Jesus Christ and continued to play a major part in raising her grandchildren and their children in a similar way. She was loved by them all. Sallie was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Bettie Williamson; Husband Deacon A. J. Stuckey; three sisters, Claude Etta (Nute) Williamson, Margaret (Williamson) Levy; Geraldine (Williamson) Frison and brother, Leroy Williamson. She leaves to cherish her memory: three daughters, Cheryl Stuckey of Gary, IN, Portia Stuckey, of Crown Point, IN, and Sheila Stuckey of Gary, IN; two sons, Aaron Stuckey, Armond Stuckey and one forever loving Son-in-Law, Derrick L. Vaulx of Gary, IN; two sisters Emma Drumright-Henderson of Gary, IN and Luria Randle of Merrillville, IN; five brothers, Elder Charles (Claudette) Williamson of Saginaw, MI, Allen (Joyce) Williamson of Memphis, TN, Jerry (JoAnn) Williamson of Merrillville IN, Lloyd (Anita) Williamson and Daniel Williamson both of Gary, IN; Twelve grandchildren, twenty-two great grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren and host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Services will be held Saturday, February 5, 2022 at Faith Tabernacle Deliverance 400 E. 35th Ave. Gary, IN Visitation 9am-11am Funeral Services immediately following at 11am. www.smithbizzellwarnerfuneralhome.com
