Kim,
My second mother will be missed deeply. She's resting in a better place. I will definetly miss talking to her on the phone. I loved when we were little girls she would do our hair. We would be the prettiest little girls in the salon. I will also miss when she got onto us for doing something we had no business doing. She was a wonderful person to me from the time you and I became friends in the second grade. I love you Kim, May God strenghthen you and your family at this time of bereavement. Love Tammy

I said a Prayer of Sympathy
to the good Lord up above,
To ask Him to console you and comfort you with Love.
I prayed for help to understand
the Wisdom of His ways,
To trust that life is measured
by love and not by days.
I asked the Lord to give you
the wisdom and the grace
To know your loved one rests
In the peace of God's embrace.
Until that joyous promised day
When all of you will be
Emfolded in each other's arms
Throughout eternity...

Dear Kim,
Just wanted to share some of my memories of Shirley who has been a part of my exteded family for over 20 years. We shared joyful births of grandchildren and final resting of love ones.
I met your mom in 1989 when your Aunt Shirley and Uncle Ray and I spent Christmas with her in Phoenix, AZ. After the visit, we all decided to move there. Shirley was the realty agent that found and sold me my first home in 1990.
Shirley was a talented and ambitios lady who did so many creative projects. It was always a pleasure to be in her company because of her outstanding personality, She will be surely missed, but not forgotten!

Revelations 22:14
Blessed are they that do His Commandments; that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gate into the city.
Nancy, please know that I am here for you and remember to always trust God.
Take My Hand, I cannot ease your heart, nor take your pain away. But let Me stay and take your hand and walk with you today.
I’ll listen when you need to talk, I’ll wipe away your tears, I’ll share your worries when they come, I’ll help you face your fears.
I’m here and I will stand by you, each hill you will have to climb, so take My Hand, let’s face the world together, living one day at a time!
You’re not alone, For I’m still here, I’ll never leave you, nor forsake you, I’ll go with you that extra mile.
And when your grief is easier, for it only last for a while.
I’ll help you to embrace your day with a smile.
Love you Nancy call me if you need me.

To my extended family,
Nancy, my heart felt condolences are with you and the family at this time. I know how much mama Shirley meant to you and baby Kassidy and so many others. Although the days ahead will be difficult, please continue to "look to the hills for which cometh your help, knowing that your help cometh from the Lord". Mama Shirley will surely be missed, but she was a strong woman, so continue to pull strenght from her. I Love you more than you know, and I'm here for you for the duration. May God continue to clothe you and the family with Strenght, Love and Support from friends and family near and far. Continue to lean on Greg for additional support on those trying days. I'm so proud of you for all that you did for mama Shirley once she moved back to Indiana, and I know she was so Blessed to have you as her special daughter. One of the last times that I spoke with her, I could hear the laughter in her voice. Those are the fund memories that I will cherish.
So as long as you have life in your body, mama Shirley will continue to live on through you, Dominique, Braedon and Kassidy.
I Love you sis,
Minister Valena Barron-Metcalfe
