Steve did the "I have a surprise for you!" gig for me too. But my favorite was his couch vacuuming abilities. Who needs attachments when you can put the whole dang vacuum on the couch? Honestly.

Eric and I only knew Steve for a few years. I had a class with him at Ivy Tech and we seemed to have run into him several times here in Lafayette. He started working with me at Kendricks. We would always watch The Young and the Restless in the lunch room, joking about the horrible acting(that was the only channel they received)! Steve loved to go fishing. We would go fishing at the apartment pond. I was good at catching crawdads because I was never patient enough to wait for the fish. We also went fishing at Columbian Park. It was easy to catch fish smaller than an inch. Steve cut the top of his Sprite can so we could keep the fish in it, but it didn't work well at all! We loved to go see movies together. I'll never forget when we saw Forgeting Sarah Marshall, the next day at work he said, "I have a surprise for you"! We had some good nights and good times at the Cactus, dancing, playing pool, and listening to Bruce in the piano bar. Steve wasn't just a great friend, but he was part of the family. He was there for us at our couples Bridal Shower, wedding, cookouts, and family get togethers. Steve was an awesome person and he will be deealy missed.
