My children and are were blessed to call this man gdad. He was a father, protector and and man among men. A man after GOD´s own heart. A strong tower. I miss him and his teachings every day. I can´t wait to see him again!

I have so many fond memories of Terry, from the time he had to break me and Lamar apart from our childhood spats, to the days of Edison Basketball Court, when Jerry Holcomb, Lamar Rummage and I could not beat Terry, Cedric Oliver and Derrick Walters ( The Click) in basketball. Terry was regarded as the big brother I did not have.
I remember when Elder Lewis, took the young people out for dinner and Terry took the tip money, thinking they shouldn’t get all that money. Terry made us laugh. Terry always had that smile that would brighten a room.
Terry will be sorely missed. Terry is in a higher place with my mother (Pastor Maxine Atkins)
May the family be comforted during this
sorrowful time. Always remember Terry had a profound affect on everyone he came in close contact with. We will never forget him.

It was priviledge for me and my children to know Terry and his family from Open Door COGIC. And I heard a voice from heaven, saying, "Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord from now on! "Yes, says the Spirit, "that they may rest from their labors, for their deeds follow them. Absent from the body, Terry is present with the Lord. My prayers is with the family.

It was a priviledge for me and my children to know Terry and his family from Open Door. Come to me all who are weary and heavy laden and I will give you rest. And I heard a voice from heaven saying "blessed are the dead who die in the Lord from now on! "Yes," says the Spirit, "that they may rest from their labors, for their deeds follow them." Absent from the body, Terry is present with the Lord. My prayers are with the family.

Pastor Rummage (Terry), my cousin was an excellent teacher of the gospel. I enjoyed listening to him teach. He inspired my faith to trust in God's Holy word no matter what the situation looks like.
He was a very enthusiastic yet comical minister who made his teachings very simplistic yet firm to the common person.
I remembered almost as if it was yesterday when he was about to leave for Purdue University(he was 18 yrs old). He was still living at home with his mother. This particular evening Derrick Walters, one of his church buddies and his sister Michelle Rummage and I were all sitting in the kitchen talking about what to expect when he arrive on campus.
Suddenly, I told him that he should not go to college but he was suppose to be a preacher. He laughed at me and said "why did you say that"? I told him I did not know but I really believed you should not go to Purdue. We both just stared at each other and smiled.
He finally graduated from Purdue and went on to become an engineer, but he discovered he was called to be a preacher.
Sometimes we have to travel a long road before we realize what our true purpose is.
God does not see us the way we see ourselves, but he sees us for who we are to become in HIM.
He did what God told him to do and he fought a good fight and that is what a true soldier in the army of the Lord does and now we all must remember to live by faith and not by sight.
Be encouraged and look up because God is soon to return and make certain that you are found doing what the Lord has called you to do.
Sincerely,
Donya Smith, Cousin

To Sis. Valeria, Minister Charlotte, Michelle, and Minister LaMar, what does one say when the unexpected happens? We are left with memories, and heartache that tugs at our sleeves, but OH REJOICE, for the battle has been won. I thank the Lord that I was able to see Pastor Rummage at a wonderful family and friends gathering before he went to be with the Lord. I shall never forget how he explained God's Word with such dedication and love. He studied to show himself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed rightly dividing the Word of Truth. Mine and many of our Bibles are full of footnotes he gave. My favorite is an explanation on intimacy with God
(In to me, He sees). I (flesh)am sad, but I (spirit) rejoice for I know he fought a good fight, and finished his course, and kept the faith. Therefore is laid up for him a crown of righteousness which the Lord, Our righteous judge shall give him on that day. Be encouraged, you are in my prayers, I love you all.

Charlotte, May the grace, peace and love of God rest upon you during this time of great loss.
Even thorugh we prepare ourselves for such a time as this because we all must go this same way. We are never quite ready to say good buy. Twenty-one years is a long time to be with someone and suddenly there gone. So mourn your loss and cherish your memories and take comfort in these words, though Bishop is absent from the body he will always be present in spirit.
Lovingly submitted,
Your dear friends,

To The Rummage Family,
Pastor Rummage prayed for and laid hands on my 75 year old father back in 1996 and caused the power of GOD to heal him from luekemia. My fathers doctor's and our family, saw all of the test results and confirmation that my father was truly healed by GOD through Pastor Rummage. Every time that I saw Pastor Rummage I would thank him for praying for my father, and he would just say "I accept your thanks, but because I've prayed for so many people, I don't remember too many of them".
My prayers are with you and thank you for sharing Pastor Rummage with us,

And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose - Romans 8:28
My walk of Faith with the Lord increased tremendously under the ministry of Pastor T.M. Rummage. His way of conveying the word of God was simplistic and full of revelations. Pastor Rummage was so full of the anointed wisdom of God that you really could not err in your understanding of the scriptures. My daughter was saved under his ministry and this is just another one of the many reasons why I am truly grateful to God for allowing such a man of Faith, my cousin, to have graced across my path of life.
During times like these, it is good to know the Lord and how to live and walk by Faith and STAND on the word of God when you really do not know what else to do. I know our Family to be one of STRONG FAITH who loves God!!!
God Bless you always and continue to keep the FAITH.
In prayer with you,
Chris Butler

Terry, we met at the late Kenneth Hagin’s campmeeting. It was love at first sight for the both of us. You became my boyfriend, my husband, my friend, my Pastor, my confidant, and my prayer partner. I have enjoyed being your wife. I have so many great memories and the awesome revelation knowledge that flowed through your teaching. I loved to hear you say, “I just got a download, I just heard that.” You have fought a fight and We Won! I know that you and our child are having a good time in the presence of the Lord. I love you with all my heart, but God loved you more.
