Wendell Brumfield Jr.

Wendell Brumfield Jr. exchanged life for eternity, on November 16, 2021, in Tulsa, OK. He was born to the late Wendell Brumfield. Sr. and Alma Jewell Brumfield on November 5, 1948, in Gary, IN. Wendell was a graduate of Tolleston High School, Class of 1966. He accepted Christ at an early age. Wendell married Marie Johnson and to this union one daughter, LaTeasa Brumfield, was born. Later Wendell married Jackie who preceded him in death. His employment included U.S Steel and Westville Correctional Center. Throughout the years, Wendell lived in Gary and Oklahoma. Wendell enjoyed golfing and spending time with his family. He often looked for the positivity and humor in a situation. He retired as a Correctional Officer in Tulsa, OK. His survivors include brothers: Kenneth, Gordon, and Gregory (Roberta) Brumfield, sisters Shelley Fisher (Alfred), Denise Brumfield, and daughter LaTeasa Brumfield, two grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Visitation Tuesday, December 7, 2021 from 9:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m., with funeral services following at 11:00 a.m. All services at Guy & Allen. Interment at Evergreen Memorial Park.
