William L. "Lucky" Ross III

William Ross Obituary

Ross III, William L. "Lucky" Age 31, passed away Wednesday, September 5, 2012 after a sudden and short illness. He was born October 23, 1980 in Gary, Indiana to the union of William and Lisa Ross, the third of four children. He leaves to cherish his memory, his mother, Lisa; two sisters, E'londa (Pierino) Walker and Erika Ross; one brother, Ron (Devette) Ross; four sons, Kyle, William, Ron, and Quantell Ross and a host of relatives and friends. Visitation is from 9am to 12pm on Thursday, September 13, 2012. Family hour at 11am. All Services will be held at Powell & Coleman Funeral Home 3200 West 15th Gary. Interment Evergreen Memorial Park.

Hey Lucky its been a long minute since I wrote to you. You are forever on my mind an Im my heart. I miss you so much. Its crazy how Myiah still talks about you, she will forever remember you!!! Lately you have been on my mind hard an I cant describe it, I just tell myself Ill see ya again one day. I know you not lonely up there so you and your cuz better be cool. I'm lighting a candle in your memory with much love from Bernice & Angel. No matter what happened, you & Bernice ALWAYS found your way back to each other. I was there almost every day with you guys & could see how much you truly loved her & the kids! I'd always joke with Bernice & tell her ya'll be together till the you die and she'd respond by saying "we'll be together even after that girl". You laughed the one time & said u'd have to go or she might come & haunt ya, lol.. We had so many laughs together, but I never thought what you guys joked about would ever be true... No matter what you & Bernice went thru, you two found each other & I know you're together again in Heaven. I miss all you guys so much. You guys were a family & at least there's comfort in knowing that you, Bernice & Angel are together again.Miss you Lucky!

Wow I haven't been on this page in awhile, but that don't mean I'm not thinking bout you! Not a single day goes by without a thought of you. I think about you everyday. Waiting to hear your voice. Even though we had our differences & disagreements we never stayed mad. You wouldn't let me. U laughed or smiled all the time. You would laugh at all the corny stuff I said and tell me it wasn't funny at the same time. I'm so happy you didn't stop trying to reach Kyle on his birthday, considering. He was able to talk to you before you died, five days after his birthday. He sat there stunned for a while. But don't worry. He's fine. Still getting his straight A's and he'll be playing football again. Everything he already did to make you proud. I dont talk about it much but I miss u now and will miss you. Rest William "Lucky" Ross. (Lol...I was thinking how I would NEVER call you Lucky even though you wanted me to.) I will continue to take great care of our son.

To the Ross Family,

I am so sorry for the loss that you all have suffered. My brother and I grew up with William and his siblings and he will be greatly missed. If their is anything that my family and I can do for your family just let us know.
