"Bill"
William "Bill" Watts, age 55 of Hobart, IN passed away Saturday, September 26, 2009 at home. He was born June 23, 1954 in Chicago, IL to Charles R. and Rochelle Watts. He leaves behind his loving wife of 34 years, Sharon Watts; two sons, William (Tina) Watts, Jr. of Michigan City, IN and Michael (Lisa) Watts of Hobart, IN; five grandchildren, Anastasia, Jackson, William III, Kaitlynn and Kylee; mother, Rochelle Bristol of Munster, IN; 3 sisters, Nan (Dave) Beuedy of NE, Jannette Brown of Lake Station, IN and Annie (Ted) Nelson of WI. He also left several loving friends and extended family members. Bill was a longtime Hobart resident and was very active in Hobart youth sports. He retired from Inland Steel, Local 1010 and during his retirement enjoyed watching sports, playing cards and spending time with his grandkids. A Memorial Service will be at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, September 30, 2009 at Burns Funeral Home, 701 E. 7th St., Hobart. Rev. David Link officiating. Friends may visit with the family on Wednesday from 2 to 7 pm, time of service. Cremation at the Burns Funeral Home Crematory will precede the visitation and service. www.burnsfuneral.com

Grandpa, We really miss you and wish that you didn't have to leave us so early. We had so many plans to look foward to. I want to thank you for being their for me and Katie. Especially when you coached my baseball teams and took us to Disney World and of course Diner Choice for Breakfast or Lunch. You were a #1 Grandpa. We Love You very much Grandpa!!!

My husband and myself had the opportunity of having many nice memories of Bill growing up in Dolton along with his parents and many backyard parties. We were sadden to hear the passing of Bill. May God be with you all during this time
