Reading the paper , I was sorry to see that Bernie passed. I knew Bernie when we were kids. Our families spent time together. My dad, Albert was a first cousin to Bernie's mom, Edestein. We really never kept in touch as we grew up, but followed his life via the news. It sounds like he had a great life and wonderful family who I'm sure are very proud of their Dad's accomplishments. My sympathy to all.

I was a small customer of Bernie's with a couple different companies. Despite not being a large customer, I was always impressed with his knowledge, but, more importantly, his honesty. My thoughts are with the family.

Hi Alyce, we were so sorry to hear that Bernie died. When we met up a few years ago at Maiden Lake after many years, it is such a nice thing to remember. Bernie was so congenial and generous. It was easy to see how much you two loved each other. I've been thinking of you and praying for you and will continue to do so. God bless you with His strength and peace. Marti and Jim Schoenwalder
