Beverly Havel Obituary

Havel, Beverly A.

Beverly A. Havel, 64, Kaukauna, passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by her family, on December 4, 2013 after a courageous five year battle with cancer. Beverly was born June 22, 1949 in Kaukauna to Gladys Zielke and the late Jerome Vosters. She graduated from Freedom High School. On August 4, 2000 she was united in marriage to Richard Havel. Bev made many friends throughout her working career at Rich's Bakery, Outagamie County Airport, and Chartwells Food Service. She enjoyed playing cards, taking trips with her sisters and spending time with her grandchildren. Bev will be most remembered for being devoted to her large family, her infectious sense of humor and her compassion for others.

Beverly is survived by her supportive husband, Richard Havel; her mother, Gladys Zielke; her children: Lisa (Wisneski) Griesbach, Chad Wisneski (fiancée, Amber Schwoch); son-in-law, Randy Griesbach; step-children: Patrick (Aileen) Havel and Tami (Gene) Paalman; four grandchildren: Joshua (Nicole), Cayden and Teaka Griesbach and Jackson Wisneski; two step-grandchildren: Eldon and Myriam Paalman; 10 brothers and sisters: Darlene (Robert) Berghuis, James Vosters, Sue (Michael) Stratton, Eugene (Cindy) Vosters, Verna Linjer, Lawrence Vosters, Leland Vosters, Laurie (Alan) Baldwin, Sharon (Scott) Spiegelberg, Lonnie Vosters; and fifteen brothers and sisters-in-law. She is further survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends including Sharon Havel and Joan Heindl.

Bev was preceded in death by her father, Jerome Vosters; step-father, George Zielke; and a step sister-in-law.

The Mass of Christian Burial for Bev will be at 3:00 p.m. on Monday, December 9, 2013 at HOLY CROSS CATHOLIC CHURCH, 309 Desnoyer St., Kaukauna with Fr. Tom Pomeroy officiating. Family and friends will be received on Sunday, December 8, 2013 at Boettcher Family Funeral Home, 2401 Fieldcrest Dr., Kaukauna from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. with a parish prayer service at 7:00 p.m. concluding the evening. Friends may call again directly at church on Monday from 2:00 p.m. until the time of service. Entombment will take place at Highland Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, a memorial is being established. www.boettcherfamilyfuneral.com

She had a very special soul and treated everyone she met with the same loving compassion as she had for her own family and friends my mom was accepting, loving, kindhearted, compassionate and never passed judgment no matter what may have done or what mistakes were made. In fact I think those things only made her heart larger by loving harder. Because you knew my mother and she touched you in a very special way what I ask and she would never ask for anything so I will is to honor her by carrying on her spirit, her forgiveness, her love, her compassion and thoughtfulness for others throughout your actions everyday. Help a stranger, friend or loved one, extend a hand, love harder and with more compassion and appreciate what you have right in front of you. My mothers greatest attribute was her selflessness as she thought of others before herself. Through you she will live on, touch others the way she touched each and everyone of you.

My Sister, My Angel
I Miss You
My mind knows that you
are in a better place
Where there is no pain,
You are at Peace
My Sister, My Angel
I understand that,I just wish
I could explain it to my heart,
There is an empty space in it that
nothing will ever fill
I grieve, but I know my tears
are for me.
We will be together again, until then
My Love will always be with you !

My beautiful grandmother, I will miss you more than I could ever put in words. Although I can never again see your infectious smile, you've left me with years of memories and have taught me lessons about life that I will pass on to my children. I hope you know how much you are loved. May you rest in God's arms. I love you.

Forever your grandson,
