We will remember the delightful, funny, charming, intelligent, well traveled lady we met on what was to be her last cruise, fondly. We feel blessed to have shared time, conversations, laughs, and memories. Our deepest sympathy to you Bob and your family.

Had lots of interesting experiences and trips due to Carol's influence. It was she who helped me have the courage to travel alone on trips with her and as a result was able to visit all 7 continents and over 100 different countries. Have lots of happy memories of times together.
My condolences to the family.

For Ron - Carol was one of our wonderful lunch regulars at Good Company back when it was on the east end of College Ave. She loved our soups and our 7 Layer Salads served in margarita glasses. I hope this little memory makes you smile, as you go through this most difficult of times. Gloria and Dave Erickson

Carol was my cousin and my Godmother. Being a first cousin the Botheroyd family is something unique and special in itself. We all lived each summer together in the Pell Lake House and really were more like sisters and brothers. Carol was the oldest of us, I was the youngest. Being only two yrs old when Carol was married, she made a special dress for me that matched her bridesmaids dresses - all carefully and loving made by Carol - as well as her beautiful wedding gown. Living away from the Chicago area, we did not see Carol as often as we would have liked, but when we were all together it was magical! Along with Gary, I was able to see Carol and Bob just before they sailed out of Tampa....I remember her and I hugging each other so long and so hard - but neither of us wanting to let go. I hope she always knew how much I loved her, because I always knew how much she truly loved me. Bob, Kathy, Mike and Ron......my heart is forever touched and my thoughts are with you all. Love to you all!
