Cecelia "Sally" McNulty

Neenah - Cecelia J. (Sally) McNulty, age 99, passed away peacefully at the Neenah Valley VNA. She was born in Cicero, Illinois; the daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (Labus) Jamros.

She was preceded by her; husband Thomas M.; brothers; John Jamros, Walter, (Helen) Jamros; Joseph (Marcella) Jamros; and Anton, (Loretta, Trunk m-1947 d-1969) ( Margret Hlad m-1986 d 2007 ) Jamros; sisters and their husbands; Victoria, (Leo) Murray; Mary, (Walter) Wroblewski and Irene, (Walter) Cikowski. Daughter-in-law; Janis Kendall; (spouse of son Michael). And Grandson, Matthew McNulty and his wife (Kimberly).

She was United in marriage to her husband, Thomas M. McNulty, on September 16, 1941. Sally lived with her husband's parents in Chicago after their wedding; helping to care for her husband's gravely ill father. Her son Thomas was born; June 13th,1943 shortly before her husband was inducted into military service. She helped support her widowed mother-in-law during her husband's military service. Her daughter Noreen; February 7, 1947, as born while living in this house.

The family purchased their first home in Chicago in 1948. Two sons; Timothy, February 3, 1950 and Michael; June 11, 1951; were born in this house. In 1954 the family bought a new home in Cicero, Illinois. The children were raised in this house. In 1968, they moved to Addison, Illinois. Their final move, in Illinois, was to North Riverside, Illinois.

Sally worked for AT&T (Western Electric) after her children were in school; retiring in 1982 to care for her mother. When her husband retired; they purchased their retirement home in Spring Hill, Florida. They spend 20 enjoyable years with family and friends; joining several fraternal organizations. After her husband's passing in 2006; she sold her house and moved to Neenah, WI to be closer to family.

She is survived by four children: Thomas F. (Patricia) McNulty, Neenah, WI; Noreen, (Craig) Mixan, Holland, MI; Timothy McNulty Sr., Orlando, FL; and Michael McNulty, North Riverside, IL.

Surviving Grandchildren: Brian (Melissa) McNulty, Cleveland, OH; Kevin (Elizabeth) McNulty, Neenah, WI; Mark (Amy) McNulty; Neenah, WI; James (Erin) McNulty, Apopka, FL; Bradley (Alison) Mixan, Sauatuck, MI; Daniel Mixan, Indianapolis, IN; Timothy Jr. (Chelsea) Longwood, FL; Michelle (Randy Burchett) McNulty, Apopka, FL; Michael (Allison) McNulty; Downers Grove, IL. She is also survived Margareta (Maggie) McNulty, Apopka, FL.; twenty-one great grandchildren, one great-great granddaughter and many nieces and nephews.

She will be interred alongside her husband in the Florida National Military Cemetery, Bushnell, FL.

Private funeral arrangements are pending in Neenah, WI and Florida.

The family would like to offer a special Thank You to her friends and staff at the Valley VNA Assisted Living facility in Neenah, WI. For their loving care and concern given to Sally.
