Daniel Lemke Obituary
Daniel F. Lemke, age 65, New London, died on Monday, February 17, 2014. Dan was born on December 22, 1948, in Green Bay son of the late Harry and Mary (Young) Lemke. He was united in marriage to Lynette Radke on July 31, 1976, in New London. Dan Worked for Asten (formerly Wisconsin Wire Works), Appleton for over 40 years. He enjoyed fishing and hunting in his younger years. He was an avid gun collector and liked to do trap shooting. Dan was devoted to his children and grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife Lynette; daughter, Katrina (Cody) Lemke, New London; son Dan Jr. (Dianna) Lemke, New London. He is further survived by his grandchildren: Dominique, Kourtney, Marlin, Danielle, Hunter and Alayna; other relatives and friends.
Funeral mass for Dan will be held on Friday, February 21, 2014, at 11:00 a.m. at Most Precious Blood Catholic Church, New London with Fr. Joseph Irudamoney officiating. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Visitation will be held at the church on Friday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service.

Dan and your family, You were such a wonderful man. Getting to know you as a co worker at Asten was truly a blessing. You mad me laugh and cry. I enjoyed calling you"DAN THE MAN"!! Thanks for being a part of all the talks in the smoke room and such a good listener. To your family I hope you all realize how much he loved you all. I never had the pleasure of meeting any of you but yet feel like were old friends. I would have been at the funeral to hug you all but I only found out this morning. I was deeply sadden. I will always remember his chuckle and smile. We all lost a good man. But he is in heaven where he should be because he was the best he could be. Love you DAN THE MAN!!!
