David Bovee Obituary

Bovee, David R.

David R. Bovee, age 62, New London died at his residence in the loving care of his sister Deb on Thursday, October 16, 2014, following a lingering illness. Dave was born on August 13, 1952, in New London son of the late Robert and Betty (Suprise) Bovee. He graduated from New London High School in 1970 and then enlisted in the US Air Force and proudly served his country for 4 years. He was employed at Simmons, New London. Dave enjoyed being with his family, fishing with his best friend Benji and deer hunting. He also enjoyed watching the Packers and Milwaukee Brewers.

He is survived by his daughter Sarah; son Andy; sister Debbie Flease; nephews, Jamie Flease and Jered Flease, 2 grandchildren, other relatives and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents Bob and Betty Bovee and a niece Gina Flease.

Funeral services for Dave will be held on Monday, October 20, 2014, at 11:00 a.m. at Most Precious Blood Catholic Church, New London with Fr. Arul Joseph I. officiating. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Visitation will be held at the church on Monday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service.
