David Houk

Menasha - David C. Houk of Menasha, age 73, died on May 16, 2021. He was born on April 21, 1948 in Davenport, IA the first son of Dr. Philip G. Houk, D.C. and Betty L. (Wilson) Houk. He attended St. Mary School, Menasha and the Fox Valley Technical College. He was a member of the armed forces in Vietnam and received 2 purple hearts and a bronze star. Married to Nancy J. Marsh, on August 25, 1995.

David was a stereo connoisseur and motorcyclist. He was a member of the BMW MOA and Disabled American Veterans.

He is survived by 4 sisters: Rebecca (Charles) Gleasner, Dr. Roberta Houk, D.C., Bonnie Much, Victoria (James) Stvitasky and 4 brothers: Derrick, Daniel (Julie), Ivan, Stan (Dorrie) Houk and many nieces and nephews.

His parents preceded him in death.

It was David's wish to have no formal funeral service.

I remember working with David to sew a BMW flag he was going to use on a ride. As he was tenting it, we had to be careful with weight, but still had to be sturdy.
