David Pettit Obituary
David Lee Pettit, age 50, died on Wednesday, January 01, 2014. He was born on February 23, 1963, in Oshkosh son of Walter and Shirley (Shew) Pettit. On March 28, 1997, he was united in marriage to Lynne Guyette. David loved camping, snowmobiling, watching the Packers, stock car racing, and playing his drums. He enjoyed restoring old snowmobiles and has one in the St. Germain Snowmobile Hall of Fame. He worked as a crane and hoist sales and technician for All-Lift Systems in Appleton.
David is survived by his wife Lynne, parents, Walter and Shirley, Oshkosh; three stepdaughters, Lycretia Guyette, Portland Oregon; Adrianna Curlee, Hortonville and Janelle Curlee, Appleton; brothers, Wayne (Kari) Pettit, Oshkosh and Paul Pettit, Oshkosh; nephew, Andy Pettit and niece Kimmie (Loren) Dieck. Father and mother in-law, James and Deneka Guyette, brothers and sisters in-law, Daniel Guyette, Mary (Dick) Clausen, Patrick (Mary) Guyette, Sally (Russel) Affeldt, Jane (David) Trosin, Jill (Neal) Krohlow and also many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Family will greet relatives and friends to celebrate David's life on Saturday, January 4, 2014, from 12 Noon - 5:00 p.m. at Cline & Hanson Funeral Home, New London. Family and friends will share stories of David's life from 4:30 -5 p.m. Feel free to wear your favorite Packer attire.

I knew Dave because of his wife and step daughters. He was a funny man and I always had good laughs when I was around him. My heart goes out to his family as I know how tough it is to deal with cancer. May Dave be in a better place and free of his pain.
