Mary, I was so very sorry to hear of Denny's passing..
Betty(Fisher) Borree shared this sad news with me.
I remember the fun times dancing at the Ravino with you and Denny and the gang from Kaukauna.

I was very sorry to see that Denny passed. We played several rounds of Golf together and Denny and I were coaches of boys basketball at Sacred Heart. Denny was a class person and looked up to by so many youngsters in Appleton. Mary, I know that you and Denny were very much in love a marriage made in heaven. Ralph Mouser

Mary So sorry for your loss. Denny was the best friend I had in the golf business. Met him early on in my career as a golf rep. We were friends right from the beginning and shared many great times in our travels and at the PGA shows in Florida. Denny never had a bad word for anyone and helped me with my golf swing whenever it slipped. Played many rounds of golf with him and he beat me every time. I will miss his jokes and wonderful personality especially the many great times we had together. I know he will be missed by all who knew him as well. God Bless Him always.

I didn't know Dennis but he was a hero of mine. I played golf at muni in the early 60's and Dennis was sort of a legend around there. I once saw him easily clear the large tree that then loomed in the middle of No.1 fairway about 175 yards out. The ball was still rising at it cleared this monster. It was the longest drive I've ever seen, and with 1960's equipment (steel shafts, persimmon heads).
I was playing a match in the 1962 city tournament and Dennis showed up in our mini gallery on the 13th tee. I was so nervous to see him there that I was convinced I would whiff. But I managed a nice drive and Dennis gave me an appreciative look, even though he could have bested my drive with a mid-iron easily.
