Donald Netherton Obituary

Donald Dean Netherton, 79, of Loveland CO joined his Father in Heaven on Thursday Jan. 12, 2012. He was a beloved husband, father and grandfather. Donald was born Sept. 24, 1932 in Greene County, Iowa. He graduated from Jamaica High School in Iowa in May of 1950.





Donald married Regina Reagan July 20, 1957. From this union two sons were born, David Lee Netherton and Donald Joe Netherton. Donald married Barbara May Spencer Neal on Apr. 24, 1988 and this union lasted 24 years. He is survived by his two sons; 2 granddaughters Annalisa Kate Netherton and Megan Ashley Netherton; and sister Madonna Leber.





In 1971 he moved to Colorado and became a small business owner. He enjoyed good friends, cards and sports of all kinds, especially golf. Donald was a veteran of the U.S. Army and served during the Korean Conflict. He worked for the Milwaukee Rail Road, Olivetti/Underwood and retired from Ft. St. Vrain Power Plant in 1995.





Memorial services will be held Tuesday, January 17, 2012, 10:30 A.M. at LifeSpring Covenant Church. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Pathways Hospice or LifeSpring Covenant Church.
