Edith Hebbe Obituary

Edith L. Hebbe

Greenville -

Edith Lois Hebbe, nee Nussbaumer, went home to Jesus on March 8, 2021 at the age of 92. Edith was born on July 21, 1928 in the Town of Clayton, WI to Gottfried and Bessie Nussbaumer.

Edith grew up on the farm. She married Carl F. Hebbe on July 29th,1950. Edith worked for many years at the Neenah/Menasha Northwestern News Paper. She was proud to be a charter member of St. Mark's Lutheran Church in Neenah. She was a dedicated volunteer for the Larsen/Winchester Lioness Club using her knitting talents to help others.

Edith was a wonderful grandmother always willing to help take care and love on her grandchildren. Edith enjoyed golfing, summer trips to Hodag, casino trips and Friday Night Fish and old fashions with her friends! She had a twinkle in her eye right to the end...always just a hint of mischief!

Edith is survived by her children: Russell and Donna Hebbe, Appleton, Roger and Laurie Hebbe, Greenville, Robert and Karen Hebbe, Neenah, and Susan Hebbe, Bonita Springs, FL; along with grandchildren, great- grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl; her son, Raymond, brother and sister-in-law, Marvin and Bernice Nussbaumer; brother and sister in-law, Alvin and Elaine Nussbaumer; and sister and brother in-law, Myrna and David Picchiottino.

The funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, March 12, 2021 at Neenah's Westgor Funeral Home. The visitation will be held from 10:00 AM until the hour of service. Interment will follow in Lake View Memorial Park in Oshkosh. In lieu of flowers a memorial is being established.

Until we meet again, Mom we will miss your sweet smile and the twinkle in your eye!

Dear family of Edith, I always enjoyed my visits with Edith and her stories of growing up on the farm. I know she was quite confused in her later years, but she always had a smile on her face, and as you say, "A twinkle in her eye right to the end." May you find comfort in the promises of God in your time of grief.
