Elizabeth Van Ryzin Obituary
Elizabeth "Betty" Van Ryzin, 78, of Appleton, passed away on January 13, 2016. Betty was born on March 1, 1937 in Appleton to the late Kenneth "Jake" and Kate (Metrice) Van Ryzin. She started working at St. Elizabeth Hospital when she was 16 years old and worked there her entire career. She most recently worked in Pediatrics. She was a very caring person and loved caring for others, especially children.
She is survived by her sister Nancy Kriesel and many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, sister Rhonda (Roger) Haines and brother Martin (Kathy) Van Ryzin.
At Betty's request, private services were held.
Thank you to Dawn and Todd Davies and Karyn Van Ryzin for the care they gave Aunt Betty in her last few years.

Reading Betty's obit brought back happy memories. Rhonda was a wonderful friend of mind and sadly we lost touch through the years. Rhonda would help me study at her home. And, there would be her dear Mom and sister. I am very grateful for those fond memories and our fun years together. Now, they are together in God's love
