James Geiger Obituary
James N. "Jim" Geiger, age 69, of Chilton, died on Thursday, May 15, 2014 at the Chilton Care Center in Chilton. He was born March 28, 1945 in Green Bay, WI, son of the late Norbert Sr. & Monica (Kopidlansky) Geiger.
Jim married Elizabeth "Betty" Schmitz on October 12, 1968 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Jericho.
Jim was an avid outdoorsman who took time to fish and hunt and enjoyed every moment he could spend with his family. Jim also felt privileged to have been a bus driver for many years. He took the greatest pride in his beloved 1937 Oliver Hart Parr tractor that he drove in many parades and presented at numerous shows.
Survivors include his wife: Betty; his children: Cathy (Eric) Pagel of Chilton, Holly (Matthew) Brick of Greenleaf, James (GeriLynn) Geiger, II of Chilton, John (Laura) Geiger of Chilton; 8 grandchildren: Ashley & Alex Pagel, Mathias & Joshua Brick, Vincent & Madeline Geiger, Lindsay & Natalie Geiger; sisters and brothers: Sandra (Michael) Siehr, Norbert (Colette) Geiger, Jr., Randy (Rosie) Geiger, Michael (Karen) Geiger, Martha (Earl) Haag, Monica (Tony) Schmidt, Paul (Karen) Geiger, Albert (Kay Lynn) Geiger, Mary Ann (Steve) Piepenburg, Simon (Rhonda) Geiger. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Jim was preceded in death by his parents; a sister: Barbara; and an infant brother: Gerald.
Funeral service will be at 7:00 pm on Tuesday, May 20, 2014 at Wieting Family Funeral Home (411 W. Main St.) in Chilton. Friends may call at the funeral home from 3:00 pm until 6:45 pm on Tuesday, May 20, 2014.

I was a classmate of Jim's, having gone thru grade school at St. Mary's and Brillion High School with him. We always enjoyed seeing him come to the class reunions.

Jim was one of my Occupational Therapy patients at Chilton Care Center. No matter what, Jim always had a smile on his face. I was honored and privileged to get to know him and experience firsthand what a kind and considerate person he truly was. Towards the end of our therapy treatments, we even developed a special handshake that Jim just loved. May you find peace in the wonderful memories of Jim, God bless you.
