John Van Landghen Obituary
Born on 2-22-57 and passed away peacefully while jamming out to his favorite music on 5-18-16. His son Ryan Derks and girlfriend Stephanie Feavel were taking care of him at home while he battled stage 4 prostate cancer. Would like to thank friends Derrick and May for their help. John worked at Kimberly Mill and Eggers Industries. He enjoyed fishing, four wheeling, riding his Harley and hanging out with his 7 german shepherds.
Mother Yvonne Van Landghen, father Paul Van Landghen (deceased), brothers Richard and Kenneth, sister-in-law Amy, many nephews, aunts and uncles.
Celebration of John's life will be held at Ryan and Stephanie's farm on Sat, June 4th at 2:00 PM.
He will be missed.

Just wanted to thank everyone! I lost my BEST FRIEND!!! And no it's not easy. Never will be... time isn't going to heal this one. Rest in peace pops ! We will see each other again.

Johnny made work a little more enjoyable. Work 30 yrs in the mill together. I loved working with that guy. He had a lot of stories to tell. Rest in peace Kool Daddy

So sorry for the loss of your dad, Ryan and family. I happened across his obituary and am very saddened for you. I knew your dad, mom, and you years ago when you were probably first grade or so, but you probably don't remember. Just know that I am thinking of you and your family; hugs and prayers!
