When I first new this lady, she was a vivacious teenager, a star in the congregation
who would go out of her way to make everyone,
feel special. All the younger girls wanted to
be just like Kay. She went away to college
and came back to have her father marry her to
her "Prince Charming." The entire church was
like a fairy tale, with candles at the end of
every pew and the bride beaming. Kay loved
life but she loved her children more. Not
every son or daughter can say their "rubber
ducky" was actually an authentic duck decoy!
She was an amazing hostess, friend and duti-
ful wife and daughter. God will wrap his arms
around her; she did it all for love.
