Kenneth Pierce Obituary
DEKORRA TOWNSHIP - Kenneth "Ken" "Kenny" Alan Pierce, age 57, passed away on Monday, June 19, 2017, at his home in Dekorra Township, surrounded by his loving family.
Ken was born on September 22, 1959, in Harvey, Illinois, the son of Kenneth and Constance Pierce. He graduated from Appleton East High School in 1978. He married Nancy Joyce on October 17, 1992, in Madison. He was a flooring installer for over 30 years, most recently employed by Majestic Floors and More LLC of Waunakee. Ken enjoyed deer hunting and was an avid year-round fisherman.
He is survived by his wife, Nancy Pierce of Poynette; daughter, Kayla Pierce of Madison; sister-in-law, Toni Pierce; nieces, Lauren (Derek) Blanchard, Jennifer Pierce; great nephew, Sage Pierce, all of Manitowoc; aunt, Kay Goers of Aiken, South Carolina; cousins, Steve (Helen) Goers of Cincinnati, Ohio, Lisa (Michael) Goers-Kendrick and their daughter, Madeline, of Waynesboro, Georgia. He was preceded in death by his grandparents; parents; sister, Carol Pierce; brother, Kevin Pierce, infant brother, Jay Pierce; and uncle, Robert Goers.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorials may be made to the UW Health Carbone/Cancer Center, c/o: Katie Williquette, UW Carbone Cancer Center, 600 Highland Ave, K4/646, Madison, WI 53792-6164 or the Home Health United Hospice Foundation, 4639 Hammersley Road, Madison, WI 53711.
The family would like to thank the staff at Home Health United Hospice for their care and support.

Just heard about Kenny and I'm in total disbelief Kenny was the kind of guy that would do anything for a friend and I remember many times hunting up at the cabin with him and the guys. miss you Kenny. May you be free.
