Doc was the greatest watched a patriots vs packer game with him as a kid. I was about 7 years old Berkeley hippie kid. I said Doc "what's a patriot" He said meet me on the dock tomorrow and I'll tell you. He showed me pictures if him in world War 2 uniforms and gave me his interpretation of a patriot. Later that night came the forth of July fire works on the lake. Although he was a kind and sweet guy he was battle tested and strong as ever.

Mark,
Just days ago, I asked to keep a glasses-cleaning cloth imprinted with your father's name. If you would like to have it, please let me know...
You have my deepest condolences as you adjust to your loss; you befriended our family in such memorable ways. Please accept the most kind spirits as I recall your good company.
