Linda Cruz Obituary

Linda Cruz

New London - Linda Lou Cruz, age 69, passed away on Saturday, January 9, 2021. She was born on April 23, 1951, in Beaver Dam, daughter of Jerold and Mable (Johnson) Lemke. Linda graduated from Waupun High School in 1969. On January 30, 1971, she was united in marriage to Ray Cruz at Pella Lutheran Church, Waupun. Linda loved gardening, reading, especially her bible, and cooking.

She is survived by her husband Raymond Cruz Sr.; children Cynthia Cruz and Raymond Jr. (Kathryn) Cruz; grandchildren: Seth Borchardt, David (Lily) Chmielewski, Raven Chmielewski and Raymond A. Cruz III (fiancé Emmalee Helms); great-grandchildren, Delilah and Dakota Chmielewski; brothers William (Cynthia) Lemke and David (Gloria) Lemke. Linda is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents William and Christine Johnson; and her parents.

A Memorial service for Linda will be held on Saturday, January 16, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. at Emanuel Lutheran Church, New London with Rev. William Heiges officiating. Visitation will be held at the church on Saturday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service.

The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses and staff at both ThedaCare in New London and Neenah for the care and concern shown to Linda and her family.
