Marcella Derfus Obituary
Neenah - Marcella A. Derfus, age 98, passed away on Friday, July 16, 2021 at American Grand in Neenah. Marcella was born in Chilton, WI on August 23, 1922 daughter of the late Joseph and Anna Boehnlein. She was married to Geraine Derfus on April 28, 1943. Marcella and Geraine farmed for many years in Stockbridge until Geraine's death in 1973. A few years later she moved to Neenah and has resided there ever since. Marcella enjoyed doing word searches and praying the rosary daily. She is survived by her son Jim Derfus, her sister-in-law Lois Derfus and numerous other relatives. Marcella was preceded in death by her husband, her son, Gerald, daughter, Shirley five sisters: Viola, Stella, Mildred, Lorretta and Bernice and two brothers: Elmer and Roman.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, August 6, 2021 at the Kessler Funeral Home, 304 S. Commercial St., Neenah. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 9:30 a.m. until the time of services. For online condolences please visit: www.kesslerfh.com.
