Mark will always be remembered as our Parish Auction auctioneer who gave his heart to our parish and school. He had a genuine way of pulling at heart-strings while challenging our auction attendees purse-strings. We will be forever grateful for our many years of working together.
May he rest in God's peace. Our sympathy to all of Mark's family.

Jennifer, Jim & Nancy, Mike & family,
So sorry to hear about Marks passing. I had always remembered Mark as Mikes tag-a-long little brother until we met up some 20 years ago when we were in a "Touch of Swing" reunion concert for Mrs. G. We had a great time together
and convinced people to go "Renegades" the old
bikerbar in Bonduel for shots of Motor Oil!
We even got Mrs. G to come down!
It was nice to see Jen and Mark had bought John
and Izzys place, It looked like they put a lot of time and effort into it. Johnny Westerfeld was my Godfather. He would have been proud.

Mark and I grew up together. We lived just a short distance apart. We played video games at my house or in his basement, and rode motorcycles every chance we got. We camped, hiked, and hunted together, but best of all we used to race on our own home built Motocross tracks in the sand pits behind my house. He was one of my best friends and he was like a brother to me. His favorite number was always 57, ever since he was a young kid. I loved Mark and his competitive nature and I will miss him dearly. I tracked him down a couple years ago and tried to see him but he couldn't work out a time. I think he was already dealing with a lot at that time so it was hard for him. Now he will find peace without pain and we are left to celebrate his life and actions.
