Mikayla Bowman Obituary
Mikayla Bowman, 15, of Neenah formerly of Oshkosh was prayed into heaven on Sunday, June 24, 2012 after enduring a three year struggle with ADEM. Mikayla was born on April 29, 1997 and came into this world full of spunk! She was instantly loved by her mom, dad, and two older siblings. Her family is comforted with the knowledge that she asked Jesus into her heart and she now is at peace with her Savior.
Survivors include her parents, William and Shawnee Bowman; sister, Alyssa (Ben) Korinek; brother, Austin Bowman and nephew, Zarrin Korinek all of Neenah. Also surviving are her paternal grandparents, Joe and Agnes Bowman of Milwaukee; maternal grandmother, Sharlene (Lloyd) Bopp-Buss of Oshkosh; uncles, aunts, other relatives and friends.
Mikayla was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Alden Bopp of Wauwatosa.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 30, 2012 at Noon at New Life Community Church (3290 9th Ave Oshkosh) with the Rev. Alan Kachic officiating. Family and friends may visit at the church on Saturday from 10:00 am to noon. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery.

What would we do without our faith? Thank goodness we can rest knowing that Mikayla is with the Lord. We have missed Mikayla and are sad that she had to struggle for so long but are thankful that it is over and she no longer has pain. Her beautiful smile reminds us of how she loved to play and enjoyed being active. She was a precious child.

I never knew Mikayla, but I want to share my condolences with the family. I am sad that she died at such a young age. In Isaiah 33:25 says, "And no resident will say: 'I am sick.' The people that are dwelling in [the land] will be those pardoned for their error."
I love this promise from our heavenly Father. We are all looking forward to a time that we will never have to experience the pain of losing our loved one due to sickness
