Nicholas Stevens Obituary
Nicholas John Stevens, age 29, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Sunday, October 11, 2015. Nick was born in Neenah on October 8, 1986 to Bob and Pamela (Stevens) Crosby. He graduated from Appleton North High School in 2005. Nick was a loving person, making sure his friends were taken care of and happy, telling humorous stories, floating down the Wolf River and gaming on his Playstation. He loved his dogs, Ryder and Axel and even Bella.
Nick is survived by his parents, his sister, Cassandra (Aaron) Payne, and his nephew, Oliver, grandparents; Ervin and Patricia Stevens and Margaret Larsen, aunt Pennie (Don) Thiele, uncles; David (Barb) Pantzer and Rick Crosby, cousins; Katelyn (Nick Ball) Thiele, Connor (Lauren Rose) Thiele, Ben (Brea) Pantzer and their daughter, Aliana, Mark Pantzer, Jesse Crosby and Tina Giese. He is further survived by his great aunts; Mary (Dave) Hultquist, Peggy Petersen, Marcia (Randy) Janssen, Rita (Tony) Schaar as well as many other loving cousins, relatives and friends.
Preceding him in death were his grandpa, Laverne Larsen, great grandparents; Bob and Edith Holter, Eileen Stevens and Adeline Kneice, great aunt Robin Holter and dear friend, Donovan Moritz.
A memorial service for Nicholas will be held at 12:00pm, Saturday, October 17, 2015 at Valley Funeral Home, 2211 N. Richmond St, Appleton with Pastor Mike Huff officiating. A gathering and visitation will take place from 10:00am until 11:30am at the funeral home.
A special thank you to good friends, Adam and Harleigh for their love and support through this difficult time.
Nick and Donovan, together again, having fun and smiling down on us.
