Bob and Barb taught the youth at Southland when Larry and I first started dating. I remember what a sweet couple they were. Then I really got to know Bob when in came to Haiti Mach 30th. He made us laugh, he encouraged everyone and all he talked about was being able to look in the twins eyes and for them to look back and know I was their grandpa! We will miss you so much! Prayers for Barb and the family!

Barb & Steven, you already know how much I loved Bob. I respected and admired him as I would a father. I'm so saddened by this loss, and also that I'm in China. I thought about returning, but Bob is the reason I serve our Lord in the places and ways that I do. I then thought..."what would Bob want me to do?" I feel confident he would tell me to finish strong & well. So please accept this distant honoring of the great man I know he was. My prayers are with you.
