Ruth Boelter Obituary
Ruth E. Boelter, 101, Neenah, died Sunday, December 4, 2016, at Atrium Post Acute Care, Neenah. She was born on June 25, 1915, in Marshfield, daughter of Joseph and Matilda Yeager. Ruth was united in marriage to Burnham W. Boelter on November 28, 1934, and he preceded her in death on September 20, 1991. Ruth was a very loving, caring, warm, and big hearted woman who loved bingo, crafts, and the Packers. She was a member of St. Margaret Mary Catholic Parish, Neenah.
Ruth is survived by 9 grandchildren: Douglas (Carol), Mark (Tammy), and William (significant other Jennifer) Whitney, Lynn Gray, Melody (Dave) Holloway, Dianna Balderas, Richard Jr. (Terry), and Thomas (Debbie) Boelter and Marce Lattin; 13 great grandchildren; 28 great great grandchildren; two sisters: Dorothy Lietz and Catherine Grimm; a daughter-in-law: Arlene Boelter; and many other relatives and friends.
Ruth was preceded in death by her parents and 2 children: Betty Whitney and Richard Boelter; siblings: Betty Jadack, Marion Storch, Frances Arndt, Shirley Johnson, Helen Schultz, Orville Johnson, Andrew Reinhart, Earl Johnson and Donald Johnson.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, December 9, 2016, at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church, 620 Division St., Neenah, with Fr. Michael Ingold officiating. Entombment will be in Highland Memorial Park, Appleton. Visitation will be Friday at the church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the Mass. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in her name.
Ruth's family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff at Atrium Post Acute Care, Neenah, for their care and compassion.
